1. About Mademewell

  • The company is based in Stockholm.
  • If you wish to contact us, please send an email to support@mademewell.com with your request and contact details, and we will get back to you shortly.
  • 2. Order
    Once you have completed your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. The confirmation includes all details about the products, prices, billing, and shipping addresses.
  • If there is any error in the order confirmation, you must immediately contact us via email at support@mademewell.com.

3. Delivery

  • Our standard delivery times are 5-12 working days. NOTE! Orders placed on weekends will be shipped no earlier than the following Monday. Any delays may occur due to current circumstances.
  • The product is shipped from our warehouse in china.
  • If delays in delivery occur (without us notifying you of a longer delivery time), you should contact us at support@mademewell.com.
  • For unclaimed goods, an administrative fee of 40% of the order value in SEK will be charged. This fee applies if you do not collect your package or if you provide incorrect address information that causes the package to be returned to us. Be sure to always provide the correct name & delivery address; you are responsible if the address is incorrect and the goods do not reach you. If you need to change your name or delivery address after your package has been shipped, we can assist with this for an administrative fee of SEK 449.


4. Prices

  • All prices in the store are stated in SEK originally, and VAT is included in the price. It is also possible to change the currency to your preference.
  • We reserve the right to change prices due to supplier price changes, printing errors in the price list, or incorrect pricing based on incorrect information, and we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly.
  • If a favorable discount is applied after purchase, the money for the discounted purchase can be refunded before the original purchase.

5. Right of Withdrawal

  • When purchasing goods from the website, you as a customer have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, which applies from the moment you receive the goods you ordered.

5.1 Exercising your right of withdrawal:

  • You must notify us if you wish to withdraw. The message should be sent to us at support@mademewell.com. Your name, address, email address, order number, and which items the return concerns should be clearly stated.
  • You should immediately, and no later than within the statutory 14 days after the withdrawal notice, return the products to us.
  • You are responsible for the return shipping, delivery, and condition of the products when returning, so the products should be well packaged and in their original packaging.
  • Returns are only refunded to the original payment method and the source of payment for the purchase.
  • We reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the depreciation compared to the product’s original value for any used or damaged product from the refund amount.


5.2 The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Products that, for health or hygiene reasons, cannot be resold after they have been used. (Inflated items)
  • Products that, for health or hygiene reasons, have been sealed and where the seal has been broken by you.
  • Products that are sealed audio or video recordings, and where the seal has been broken by you.
    Custom-made products that have been specifically tailored to you or have a clear personal touch according to your wishes.
  • Services that have been completed and where you have expressly agreed that the service begins without the right of withdrawal.
  • Goods that deteriorate quickly, such as foodstuffs.
    Single issues of newspapers or magazines.

6. Complaints and Claims

  • We inspect all products before they are shipped to you. If the product is damaged or incorrectly dispatched upon arrival, we commit to rectifying the issue free of charge in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
  • You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective item.
    The complaint must be sent immediately after the defect is discovered.

6.1 How to proceed with a complaint:

  • Any faults or defects must always be reported to support@arkenfeldt.com, where you provide your name, address, email address, order number, and a description of the defect.
  • If we are unable to correct the defect or deliver a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with consumer protection legislation. We do not cover return shipping for approved complaints.
  • We reserve the right to reject a claim if the product is not found to be faulty according to consumer protection laws. In the case of complaints, we follow the guidelines from the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), see arn.com.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We accept no responsibility for indirect damages that may arise due to the product.
    We do not accept responsibility for delays or errors resulting from circumstances beyond the company's control (Force Majeure). Such circumstances may include labor disputes, fires, wars, government decisions, reduced or missing deliveries from suppliers.
  • Furthermore, we do not take responsibility for any changes to products or product features made by the respective supplier and other factors beyond our control.

8. Product Information

  • We reserve the right for potential printing errors on this website as well as product sell-outs. We cannot guarantee that the images accurately reflect the exact appearance of the products, as slight color variations may occur depending on the screen, photo quality, and resolution. We always strive to display the products as accurately as possible.

9. Cookie Information

  • According to the law on electronic communication, visitors to a website must be informed about the use of cookies for privacy purposes. The information in the cookie can be used to track a user’s browsing. A cookie is a small text file that the website you are visiting requests to save on your computer to provide access to various functions. You can set your browser to automatically reject cookies. 10. Personal Data

  • By shopping with Arkenfeldt, you accept our privacy policy and the processing of your personal data. We care about your privacy and collect no more data than necessary to process your order. We never sell or share your data with third parties without legal grounds.
  • Arkenfeldt is responsible for the handling of the personal data you provide to us as a customer. Your data is processed by us to manage your order and, if you have requested newsletters or promotional offers, to tailor marketing to your individual needs.
  • Below is a summary of how we store and process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

10.1 What is personal data?

  • Personal data is any information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a natural person.

10.2 What data do we store?

  • To manage your order and respond to questions related to your order (customer service), we store your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, and purchase history.
  • Your data is stored as long as we have a legal basis to process it, such as fulfilling the agreement between us or complying with a legal obligation, for instance, according to accounting laws.
  • 10.3 Legal Basis
    When making a purchase, your personal data is processed to fulfill the agreement with you. Marketing, promotions, and similar mailings occur with your consent.
  • 10.4 What data is shared and for what purpose?

10.4.1 Payment Provider

When making a purchase, information is shared with our payment provider. The information stored includes your first name, last name, address, email address, and phone number. If you choose to pay by invoice, your personal identification number is also saved by the payment provider. This information is stored to complete the purchase and to protect both parties against fraud.
The payment providers we use are: Klarna, Visa, Mastercard.

  • 10.4.2 Shipping Companies
    To deliver your orders and fulfill our agreement, we must share specific information with the shipping company. The information shared with the shipping company includes your first name, last name, and delivery address. Your email address and/or phone number may also be shared for delivery notifications.
    The shipping companies we work with are: PostNord or your local provider.
  • 10.4.3 Newsletter
    If you have opted to subscribe to our newsletter, your first name, last name, and email address are shared with our newsletter provider. This is to keep you updated with information and offers for marketing purposes.
    We use Automizely for sending newsletters.
  • 10.5 Right to Access
    You have the right to request an extract of all the information we hold about you. This information will be delivered electronically in a readable format.
  • 10.6 Right to Rectification
    You have the right to ask us to update incorrect information or supplement incomplete data.
  • 10.7 Right to be Forgotten
    You can request at any time that your personal data be deleted. There are a few exceptions to the right to erasure, such as if the data needs to be retained to fulfill a legal obligation (e.g., according to the accounting law).
  • 10.8 Data Protection Officer
    Arkenfeldt is responsible for storing and processing personal data in the online store and ensures compliance with regulations.
  • 10.9 How We Protect Your Personal Data
    We use industry standards such as SSL/TLS and one-way hash algorithms to securely store, process, and communicate sensitive information, such as personal data and passwords.
    We use a Swedish platform, Quickbutik, operated by Quickbutik AB, based in Helsingborg.

11. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to make changes to the terms at any time. Changes to the terms will be published online on the website. The amended terms are considered accepted in connection with placing an order or visiting the website.

12. Disputes and Choice of Law

  • In the event that a dispute cannot be resolved in agreement with the company's customer service and the customer, you as a customer may contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), see arn.com.
    For residents of an EU country other than Sweden, complaints can be submitted online via the EU Commission's platform for dispute mediation, see http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
    In case of any dispute, we will follow decisions from ARN or an equivalent dispute resolution body.
    Disputes regarding the interpretation or application of these general terms and conditions will be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.
